The City Of Minneapolis is home to almost 50 miles of bike trail within the city limits. Not only does Minneapolis have an abundance of trails to go biking on it, it has some of the most well maintained bike paths in the world. The Chain of Lakes trail is the longest trail within Minneapolis, it covers almost 12 miles. The 11.98 mile trail brings you through a beautiful foursome of lakes including Cedar Lake, Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriet and also The Lake Of The Isles. The lakes and trails are lined with trees that look just spectacular as the colors change and water reflects the vibrant colors of the leaves. This is one enjoyable ride that you will want to take time and time again once you have experienced it during the change of seasons.

The last trail I will bring up is the West River Parkway Bike Trail, it goes for 7.24 miles along the west bank of the Mississippi River. The view gives you a wide variety of different plants and trees to watch change color with the seasons. This is an awesome place to view the changing of colors and feel the cool breezes of the Mississippi River Valley. The West River Parkway Bike Trails will take you from just north of Minneapolis near the Plymouth Ave bridge of the Mississippi River all the way to South Minneapolis to Godfrey Parkway.

Whatever trail you take, you can be sure to get an excellent ride and an amazing view every mile of the way.

The West River Parkway Bike Trail and the Chain of Lakes Bike Trail both offer and excellent ride which is both aesthetically pleasing as well as physically challenging.
